Grayson

A commission to commemorate a successful collaboration between an artist and an institution.  A Grayson Perry silk headscarf is re-worked into a striking ceramic patchwork piece.  The scarf was designed by Grayson to accompany The Tomb of the Unknown Craftsman exhibition at The British Museum.  The scarf’s owner felt that with its strong colour palette and bold graphic qualities, they would get more pleasure from it as a vase than as a fashion accessory.  The headscarf was a real joy to work with.
