A commission to celebrate the start of a new chapter for fellow Birmingham City University academic and friend, Jean Ensell. Over the years, Jean helped launch the careers of many a successful printed textile designer – Emma J Shipley being just one. In wishing Jean well, the staff team knew a ceramic patchwork bowl made from a signature EJS silk would be the perfect gift.
